Bauer Park is a local park that is situated in Huntington Beach. Mayor Ralph H. Bauer, who served on the City Council from 1992 to 2000, is honored by the naming of this park. On June 16, 2012, the park was officially opened.

One of the finer parks in Huntington Beach, Bauer Park most definitely has a spiderweb and is similar to Peter Green Park in appearance. Despite being bordered by private neighborhoods, the park is open to the public. Just be careful not to park on any of the nearby private streets in order to enter the park.

Location

On Newland, Bauer Park is rather close to the shore. Lomond is the park’s authorized street parking area. Highlights

  • It is simple to notice the children on the playground’s sides designated for ages 2 to 5 and ages 5 to 12.
  • On the playground’s side for children aged 2 to 5, there is a modest play structure with three slides, amusing fish tunnels, a climbing arch, and swings.
  • The playground’s side for children aged 5 to 12 contains a larger play structure with monkey bars, unusual ladders, and three slides in addition to a giant orange climbing wall and a polygon spiderweb for climbing.
  • Both play structures feature those interactive panels that are suitable for pretend play as well as what I refer to as “lunch counters” for looking through and placing orders at make-believe restaurants or collecting mail for a make-believe post office.
  • Park is reasonably close to the seashore.
  • Good for climbers, featuring a smaller orange climbing wall for older children and a smaller climbing structure for preschoolers.
  • The park feels tropical because of the palm plants.
  • Basketball on a half court
  • Several benches
  • 2 baby swings and 2 bench swings
