Between Golden West and Seapoint Streets on Palm Avenue in Huntington Beach, Pattinson Park backs up to the Boardwalk gated neighborhood. The Lexie Circle and Cherryhill Drive entrances to the gated Sea Cliff Estates are located across Palm Street.
The park has the most beautiful brickwork and landscaping among the newest parks that Huntington Beach has seen in recent years. Within a few blocks of Huntington City Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach, and the Pacific Ocean, it mixes in perfectly with the neighborhood of estate homes.
Features
The park is separated from Palm Street by an ironwork fence that is adorned with palm trees, pink and orange succulents, and pink and orange flowers. Large fields for play and a gorgeous play area set next to a covered patio with picnic tables make this a great location for informal groups where the kids may play within view of the parents. The playground features a fish and blue color scheme with an aquatic motif. Playworld Systems of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania manufactures inflatable rides for children with seahorse shapes.
There are numerous picnic tables, basketball courts, and park chairs. This park’s cement section is a fantastic location to unwind. It gives the impression that you are in a tranquil park without ever having to step on grass and risk getting your good shoes wet. At the park’s Palm Avenue entrance, there is an off-street parking area with paved spaces.
