Highlights

  • Given that Huntington Harbor is so close to the ocean, you may enjoy the summer winds and pleasant weather in this park.
  • You get a beach and a playground, but there isn’t a lifeguard on duty, so keep a close eye on your kids!
  • Playground featuring a pirate ship with a cannon and plank for pretend play with a pirate theme.
  • 4 people on a teeter-totter with what appears to be a tabletop in the middle.
  • 2 bench swings, 2 baby swings, and 1 swing that can be used alone
  • A modest double slide and a handful of entertaining, quicker slides
  • For climbing, there are grips, ladders, rope bridges, and stairs.
  • A calm beach where young children can dip their toes and adults can pitch up tents in the sand
  • Picnic tables with shade and a green space
  • Building with restrooms close to the beach and playground
  • Parking is simple when it’s not too crowded
  • Using an outdoor shower to clean off after beach time

However, given that they are not flawless, parents and guests should nonetheless be mindful of a number of things, such as the picnic tables. One picnic table was damaged, while others were positioned at an awkward angle on uneven ground. On the other side, the sand can become extremely hot, therefore wear shoes to protect your feet from burns. In addition, there is no lifeguard. Any time you are with your child near water, this is a major problem.
