Talbert Park features a separate swing set with both baby and standard belt swings, as well as two playground Playworld Systems play stations with ladders and slides. The park also has sports fields, and on the campus of Talbert Middle School, a Huntington Beach institution that is part of the Fountain Valley School District, there are basketball courts.

Magnolia Street can be used to access Talbert Park, however there is no parking on this busy street. Turning from Magnolia to Moorpark and then turning left into McLaren Lane will get you there.

The park, which has the name of one of Huntington Beach’s original families, the Talberts, is next to the Talbert Channel, which empties into the Santa Ana River and the Pacific Ocean. Lagenbeck Park, another public park, is located directly across Magnolia Street.
